I also tried reinstalling Vacuumsound ADT. Where did you get your download from? Mine's giving me the default option of a x86 folder installation with no 圆4, which leads me to think this download (direct from DaSample) is 32-bit only. Just tried installing Glaceverb again, after resetting the plugins Blacklist. In particular, I've had the Vacuumsound ADT and Glaceverb running well.

You would no longer have to ditch your native 32bit plugs. That way uou get the best of both worlds. It's usually just a few plugins that do it.

it still allows that one specific plugin to access your system's full about of RAM with the 64bit architecture of your OS.Ģ) The rest of your project probably isn't going to come close to 4GB. But only Jbridge a few plugins (like Kontakt and Trilian) that were guaranteed to break the 4GB of RAM threshold.ġ) Jbridge alows you to bridge 32bit plugins to a 32bit bridge also, which is fantastic. One potential workaround for you (something I did for about 6 months with great success) was to utilize S1's 32bit version. Jbridge makes Kontakt 5 work even better than the native Kontakt 5 (check off performance mode and watch the CPU meter stabilize). My conclusion is that Jbridge works above average, but only if you significantly limit the instance count. Since then, i've gone 85% 64bit, with the exception of Miroslav and 1-2 other plugins for backwards compatibility. If you do some searches on Jbridge here you'll probably run into my detailed experiences with it. modded Oktava Mk-012s, Shiny Box 46MXL, Sontronics STC-2. Anyone have any good experiences with it?

Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know why some 64 bit VSTs seem to work with S1, and others don't?Īs an aside, a few of the vendors have recommended bitbridges (especially JBridge) to let me use the 32 bit plugins, but my impression's that it's not really worth it (glitchy, 2X CPU drain, 2X latency).

A couple of examples off the top of my head are Dasample's Glaceverb, Vacuumsound's ADT (both of which I really want to install if I can), and Sound Hack's Freesound and Delay Trio bundles. I've checked they're in the right folder(s), but they still don't work. Around 25% though aren't being recognised by S1. Some of them are working like a dream - and I'm amazed they're available as freeware. Hi, having been a bit horrified by the number of my purchased plugins that are still only 32 bit, and therefore useless with the Studio One 2.5 64 bit I've just installed, I've been hunting for good freeware 64 bit VST plugins to fill some of the gaps.
